09 Convention

Convention family Photo. This was such a good assembly, if you have not been yet you are in for a great assembly! There are a few out of the ordinary parts. Bring your tissues for the drama.

Love Birds

I am LOVING our visits form our love birds. Fortunatly, they really like the berries in the tree next door, which we can see from the kitchen window. They are around all day. They dont mind us being out in the yard either. I think they live in our palm tree. A couple days ago we counted about 18 in that little bush. They are gorgeous!

Garden

My garden is doing fairly well this summer. The tomato has exploded and is covered with cute little red tomatoes. However is has got the nasty tick or whatever, that starts wilting the leaved from the bottom up. It makes me so mad. I am not sure what to do about it. On the other hand it keeps growing so fast from the top that it has bent over, I just noticed today. It is much taller than this picture. My squash are gigantic too but for some reason the yellow squash get to be about 2.5 to 3 inch long and start to rot from the outter end. So I have been throwing them away. If I pick them before that happens they are not done yet, but are still edible and delicious. They should be getting to be 10 inches though. My pumpkin I found today has a little green pumpkin on it the size of a golf ball. More pictures later. FYI I love my garden.

Brooklyn Bridge

No wonder I see so many pictures of this bridge. It makes a really great picture, so many dimensions with the awesome City scape behind it. This was an amazing trip by the way.

Wow what a great looking couple that is!! Joan has an amazing backyard for parties....gorgeous garden, cabana bar..always well stocked, lights, the italian costal mural covering the entire block fence, the perfect fire pit. And not at all cookie cutter either, most things back there they painted, or built themselves.
