Cards all afternoon. Do I really have to leave?

Kicking!

Tuesday night while Amiri and I were sitting, during our family worship, baby was moving quite a bit. I told Amiri to put his hand on my belly and try to see if he can catch a movement. After a min. sure enough we felt a nice little kick on Daddy's finger tip and again. And then he felt baby just sliding around in there. The most we have felt it. He was so excited to feel it and I was excited at how strong he/she is getting. Since then I feel stronger moving and kicks on a regular basis. It makes me giggle. We made the big ultrasound appointment for September the 9th. We'll know is we are having a son or daughter!

17 weeks belly

I heart Four Seasons Austin

Best morning coffee ever.

How peaceful can this be? This is the first day I have come down here and everyday I have wanted too (we can see it from our room), not that my schedule is real busy ha-ha. And this is the first morning I have been up early enough to benefit from the (beautiful, I might add) complimentary coffee bar. Hey give me a break. Its 2 hours later here. ;) I keep singing to myself...Sarah B's version of sitting in the dock of the bay. Squirrels think I have food and get close and now and again you can spot a turtle pop its head out of the water. The bridge in the background is home to over 30 thousand bats that make quite a display every evening at sunset as they journey to find their evening meal. I actually planned to walk the path down the river but so far this is as far as I got.

Woah reflection

Its weird to catch a glimpse of myself. It catches me off guard to see this big belly on me. I am at the spa getting a pedi and had to double, no triple take, at my reflection in the glass.
